# Ruan Hoffmann Cement

clé has enjoyed a long collaboration with ruan. his works are provocative, and iconic, leaving works that charm while they explore our notions of imagery.

as a world traveler, ruan gets inspiration from every new destination and his vibrant collection - "postcards from myself" are from a favorite set of gouaches ruan painted during various journeys. translating these images into encaustic cement tile patterns has resulted in a collection that is both surprising and alluring.
