10 Corso Como- Milan, Seoul, Tokyo

06 July 2011

Pattern Girl and I seem always to be on the same page; a huge benefit when seeking daily blog material. Last week Erin reminded me of a post I had written a while back about one of the best and most influential design destinations- 10 Corso Como.

This cross-discipline, multi-structural oasis of design and art scoops up in-the-know enthusiasts from around the world. Visitors to the original mecca in Milan are transported from the inner courtyard of a traditional Milanese palazzo into a complex of the best and newest from fashion, art, food and books. Mmmmm...my equivalent of a candy store.

And those were just some of the shots from Milan's emporium. Founder Carla Sozzani is the renowned publisher gallerist and world citizen who is the ultimate arts and cultural insider, frequently kicking it with the likes of Steven Meissel, Bruce Weber, Azzedine Alai, Yamamoto, etc. She has expanded into two more locations; one in Seoul and the other in Tokyo
