17th century launches in this month's architectural digest!

07 November 2013

it's a new month- and we are officially launching november with architectural digest's november issue. (& yes, that's me on the cover :) )

cle-AD-17thCcoverwell, maybe i'm not on the cover- but we are fortunate enough to be featured inside the issue! clé 's newest series of tiles - 17th century - is a modern ode to traditional delft patterns and tiles. thanks, architectural digest, for being the first to share this collection!

less timid than their historic predecessors. 17th century tiles get their extraversion from their exaggerated size- 12"x12" limestone, either lithographed or hand painted. this turns up the volume on the patterns making them striking and visually formidable. 6 patterns to be exact!

but it's the colors that let you know the tiles from our "17th century" have made their way to the 21st! though available in a variety of traditional colors, "17th century" is also available in hot new colors such as teal, grey, yellow & even pink.

tile envy is pleased to report that delft is definitely back! it's on the runway, in new design products and as always- in tile.
