but sausalito is quintessentially californian- casual, funky and uninhibited, in stark contrast to the dramatic, refined and mysterious venice. clearly i have a thing for opposites!
this month i will be revisiting some of my old posts about venice, as well as some new posts from fellow venetophile and chief clé cheerleader - joann locktov, of bella figura communications. joann has spent the last many years indulging her love of venice with regular visits. her most recent visit inspired a series of articles as only a venice insider could share.
