all month long- i thought it would be fun to share a daily tour of the pinterest boards at clé. not all of the pins- just enough to hopefully show what's in store for anyone searching stone and tile inspirations. (plus a few of my own twists from fashion, pattern and pups:)
along the way, there will be a few detours to spice it up.
for instance, the other day my design partner, ann, and i were out selecting lovely white marble for several of our projects. we don't generally enjoy the arduous process of stone selection- but are always captivated when on the hunt for carrara, thassos or calacatta- the luminous trifecta of white marble. that afternoon, the owner of the slab yard energetically shared with us a new film featured in 2011's venice film festival - il capo (the boss). it's THE film for any stone enthusiasts, especially those in love with the heritage of carrara. i've linked a sneak peak just below today's white marble pin tour.
