My good pal, Sara has built an incredible career of placing shoes in stores so they land on your feet:)
Usually when I come to visit- she has trunks filled with the latest and greatest of shoes ready to launch next season and she generously allows me my own little Cinderella-fest. Unfortunately, I can't bring them all home, but I generally manage to cram my toes into something high enough for a nose-bleed and fly enough to outshine anything I'm wearing.
Recently my design partner and I completed a stunning master suite renovation for our client who happened to have an exceptional collection of shoes. After several months of working around her myriad of leather, crystal and lucite treasures, we all began to divulge our shoe envy to one another - including all the sub's on the job! It was hilarious that they all had a POV; plumber, painter, electrician and so on. I've always known you can judge a cat by his shoes-forget the Rorschach- and bring on the Choo's.
This week kicks off a full week (yes every day!) of Tile Envy. So I thought we'd do so by sporting a fashion combo with our cohort Tilevera's Daily Tile, perfectly paired with Style.com's editor's picks for this Fall 2011's best shoes. Mmmmm... tile and shoes.
