halston fashions were astoundingly spare in their construction and presentation. it takes a great deal of garment construction experience and genius to create the simple and flowing lines. where halston lived and partied was very similar. sparse, elegant and sophisticated architecture is actually very difficult to get right. considering the time frame was the decadent 70's, halston's spare and minimal NYC home is construction perfection.
