Emery et Cie recently announced their Autumn colors. I always look forward to receiving their color/product announcements. And wouldn't you know it- amongst the twist of yellows and celadon shaded fabrics, paints and glazes- were glass tiles unlike any I've seen out there right now.
Aurelie is the lovely sales manager at Emery et Cie and she tells me that their new glass tiles are created by adding color (10 available!) to the glass and then a thin layer of zinc which creates the metallic effect. Agnes Emery is a magician with color and surfaces. These glass tiles are just the latest manifestation of that talent.
