We started this week taking a peak at the Dinder House in Somerset, England. Today I thought it would be fun to take a look at the creative force behind the interior finishes - studioIlse, the design studio of Ilse Crawford.
Ilse happens to be one of my favorite designers. Her clean crisp style can be indulgent or sparse. But I mostly favor her work for her commitment to taking chances with the tile, stone and hardwood floors of her projects. She clearly understands that good design requires well designed foundations.
An innovator, studioilse is one of a new breed of design teams that have the ability to build the entire design structure of a project- or in their own words- studioilse creates brands, buildings, furniture and products that are a frame for life.
