when clé launched this past may- one of the first writers to "break" the scoop (can you break a scoop?) was mike welton at architects + artisans:
it was fun to have a chance to sit and have my swirling post-launch thoughts about the culmination of my entire tile career - clé - coalesce into a singular message.
OK- so that is my fantasy of what happened during that interview. what really happened was that mike skillfully pressed me with intuitive questions that allowed me to puzzle my thoughts together so that mike's journalistic skills could share the many facets of our BIG TILE MISSION. to read more from mike about the origins and mission of clé, please click (here).
