a new move to amsterdam from south africa hasn't deterred his prolific nature for a moment.
ruan's now-classic tile series for clé have changed the way we all consider decorative tiles-
today, he is prepping for his long awaited art exhibit in paris in march-

but for a lot of last year, ruan's focus was on his development of a bounty of goods for anthropologie.

add to all of that, a couple of new collections of tiles for clé this year and it's a wonder when ruan sleeps. does he get more hours a day than the rest of us? i could use some extra hours just to take it all in.
