Pattern Girl Explores San Diego

Never at a loss of affection for great design, this week Erin and I share visits to newly discovered havens of fine design.

Here from Pattern Girl-

Saturday I went with my son Kit to Old Town in San Diego. We originally went to buy fresh taffy and ended up staying for the entire day, touring and reliving the past. While Kit sat and munched on candy, I went looking for a treasure.
Right when I was about to give up; thinking all the stores were the same- Mexican painted molded Chihuahuas and sorts, yawn, I stumbled onto a real treasure trove, the Urban Seed Store run by Maurice and Michael. Wow, my heart became a flutter. They mix plants, succulents, candles, patterns, and seeds all in a corner store. Here are a few of my favorite things:
