with such a great response to last week's flower-power, i think we've all been craving the colors of spring. it's definitely in the air and i'll admit i couldn't resist posting today's story that is as much about the incredible art of hand painted patterns as it is the beauty of florals. and how better to see those florals than with everyone's newest passion- wallpaper.
of course y'all know that tilevera makes the best hand painted tile in the world. i just had to say that out loud because i don't always get a chance to say so in an unadulterated, unabashed, un-a-shameful manner. however, the skill of our master painters never ceases to WOW me! especially now as we are getting ready to launch "wallpaper", a new collection of patterns artfully painted on tilevera's 12x12 limestone canvas.
recently- i got to be wowed some more when i happened upon this unbelievable combination of photography, body-painting, and pattern selection by Peruvian artist, cecelia paredes. i have to tip my hat to this visual feast that you are about to behold (as shared by friends at honestlyWTF). it's striking and eerie beyond words!
