in july, clé launched a vast collection of new cement tiles from south african artist, ruan hoffmann. all of us at clé and tile envy harbor much love for ruan and his charismatic art. his latest collection for clé, "postcards from myself" just adds to our affection.

we have spent the last year swooning over ruan's limited edition tile series -much love me- and the rest of his entrapercevoir series. but this latest series is a departure from his more singular tiles, primarily because of their ability to repeat.
recently, his series seduced sarah lonsdale, founding editor of remodelista (featured here), when she proclaimed them to be - an oh, so sexy tile! well, that's certainly worth repeating!
