# Sexy tiles?...remodelista says so & we agree!

 03 September 2013

in july, clé launched a vast collection of new cement tiles from south african artist, [ruan hoffmann](http://www.cletile.com/artist/ruan-hoffmann/). all of us at [clé](http://cletile.com) and tile envy harbor much love for ruan and his charismatic art. his latest collection for clé, "[postcards from myself](http://www.cletile.com/artist/ruan-hoffmann-postcards)" just adds to our affection.

we have spent the last year swooning over ruan's limited edition tile series -[**much love me**](http://www.cletile.com/cle-artist/ruan-hoffmann/ruan-hoffmann---much-love-me)- and the rest of his [**entrapercevoir series**](http://www.cletile.com/cle-artist/ruan-hoffmann/ruan-hoffman---entracepevior/ruan-hoffmann---entrapercevoir-series). but this latest series is a departure from his more singular tiles, primarily because of their ability to repeat.

recently, his series seduced sarah lonsdale, founding editor of remodelista ([featured here](http://www.remodelista.com/posts/ruan-hoffman-postcards-from-myself-for-cle-tiles)), when she proclaimed them to be - an oh, so sexy tile! well, that's certainly worth repeating!

thanks sarah, for falling for our tiles!
