thanks to alls y'alls for the congrats and general outpouring of celebration for the recent PR wonders bestowed this year. this week's announcement of clé's unreal NY Spaces article has generated nearly as many comments and emails as my earlier announcement of the upcoming book...tile envy!

you know what all this could mean?? my diabolical plan (to invade every nest and grand arena with wildly artistic tile and stone surfaces) is hatching itself, masterfully. if all succeeds, every last one of you will want nothing more than to live in spaces clad with unrestrained pattern, glazes, and textures created in the wildest dreams of the world's best designers and artists. oh, to eventually live in such a world!! the mind boggles...and i can feel gaudi smiling from above!
