this is no small detail for a number of reasons. but for me- i'm most overwhelmed by the recollection that my very first tile envy blog post was a review of The September Issue. at the time, i was attempting to use this story to convey to all my readers (which numbered 3, including my parents) that my life as a tile designer has always taken its inspirations from fashion.

thanks vogue for being such a big part of our small journey. it's been an honor sharing tile favorites along with my tile designing inspirations via tile envy, the blog. and now Tile Envy, the book, feels like a great evolution of what started as my diabolical plan to coerce all of you to the wonders of tile.
