Of course my heart belongs to tile- I think I've made that clear thus far.
However, I've often lamented, and for years, that I should be fortunate enough to return in my next life as a pillow salesman. For those of you who have spent a career lugging luggage filled with tile and stone...you get my drift!
But another career I'd have loved to have had is that of Christopher and Suzanne Sharpe - king and queen of the hip side of the rug realm (read great interview here). Every time I need to specify a rug for a project- my one stop shop is always The Rug Company. "Hip" seems old-fashioned compared to their creations. From their designs to their designers and their floors to their walls, if you've never spent a few moments looking at their site or visiting one of their premiere locations- there are few sites and even fewer showrooms that are as good as The Rug Company. I want a room for every rug!!
