If you are measuring by tile-years, my dear friend Tracy Bowman and I have been friends for eon's. We met when she was one of the creative forces behind a spectacular showroom in N.California.
Tracy has been a huge fan of Tile Envy since the very beginning (that was fun to say), and if you ever check out our comments, Tracy has been known to contribute a note or two. But her real correspondence takes place via email with some of the most interesting reactions to some of my posts.
I've been trying to get Tracy to contribute with some guest-blogs and she's been rather coy. However, today I came up with something absolutely brilliant, if I say so myself. I asked her permission to publish some of her emails. That was kinda brilliant- you think?
So please welcome Tile Envy's newest guest-blogger, Tracy Bowman-

Have you seen "Midnight in Paris"? or should I say have you "scene" it? Tres magnifique!
Can they come up with a movie remote control that can allow you to freeze frame a scene and do "Google earth" maneuvers into the scene; bird's eye views, scan the interiors and stroll down the cobblestone streets of Paris?
And while they're at it, bring back smell-o-vision (not to be confused with John Water's, "odorama") to fully arouse all the senses?!
I can't afford the airfare to Paris, but for now, get your cafe' latte, sit down and listen to:
and no need to put on your shoes for a virtual stroll,
