Trees + Museum

18 June 2010

This week a museum opened in Switzerland filled with over 2000 varieties of trees!

Just like you, I have been very miserable about the state of affairs in the world because of the BP debacle. There are no words - so I won't go there.

When I discovered that this special museum had just opened and saw the photos, I took a moment to get lost in this celebration of nature. Here's a bit of it for all of you-

Opened outside of Zurich in Rapperswil-Jona, Switzerland, the remarkable museum was designed and built by Enzo Enea the renowned Swiss landscape architect on the grounds of a 14th Century monastery. It was clearly a personal dream for Enzo as well, since the the museum features his own collection of trees that he has been collecting for over 17 years!
