Anyone who knows me, knows that I'm not much for jewelry. And yet, there are certain pieces that can strike me by their sheer, singular eccentricity.
Philippe Tournaire's collection of architecturally-inspired rings are perfect examples.
Imagine, if you will, the phenomenon of these rings. First you have to conceive of the idea of making architectural icons into rings. To me that's big. AND THEN- you have to be skilled enough to make them. They are inexplicable and inexplicably well crafted.
And then consider that there are so many from which to choose, including custom rings of your own favorite structures. How about the Glass House, Versailles, Hearst Castle- all in your own selection of rose gold, platinum, jewels and so on?
