this week has been all about my home coast. yes, that would be the west, left, sunniest, apparently nuttiest coast. i love a stay-cation if only because in the hustle bustle life of trying to stay ahead, sometimes stopping to smell the roses requires an appointment.
some of the best traveling can be in our own backyards, and if we have a car, or a train or bus ticket, we can venture far to the north, south, east and west of the US of A and reach heights and depths of beauty for which we may have forgotten we're famous!
recently clé has been working with some of the most creative hoteliers around the world. but it's been especially fun getting to know some of our closer neighbors providing good times, soft beds and warm baths! throw in a fine brew and local tunes and you've got, bunkhouse hotels, the emerging hotel group serving the lone star state while brimming with their own blend of low-tech high-style.
